Wake Up Sid.

After a long time,the blog restarts,procrastinated to write this one and today got some time to pen down my opinions.Wake Up Sid is a wonderful movie,I could relate to.I love journalism ,photography and writing.So,did like this movie with a strong message to today's youth---to realize responsibilities,discover your talents and hidden inner potential.

The songs are good too,liked all of them.

The movie becomes a sort of template of how Gen Now navigate their lives,deal with their own rebellions,find meaning to their own meanings to independence and handle their own set of mistakes.Refreshing and heart-warming----Times of India.

Haloween 2009.

Haloween costumes are a sure hit with these school children and my daughter was Princess Belle this year.Shrevewood Elementary had a wonderful party too.Here's wishing the Party city a good business this year!!

Peace prize....all too soon??

Obama is chosen for the Nobel Peace Prize this year.Obama said:I am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the Nobel committee. Let me be clear I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations. To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize.

Abhi-Ash on Oprah

Oprah called Ash one of the most beautiful women in the world and we saw Abhi had accompanied his wife Ash to the Oprah show and they even shared an exclusive on-screen kiss!!

The cute couple were all smiles and blushed when asked about their proposing and Abhi said it was pleasant on the eyes to have married the most beautiful woman.Being a fan of both Abhi-Ash,I can surely say it's another great day for the most famous couple in Bollywood to be on with the queen of talk shows-The Oprah show.

Ash had come on the most popular show in the US-Oprah's show in 2007 and had dressed Oprah in a pink saree.!!This time she donned a white and brown saree and brought her hunky hubby!!

At the Legg Mason Tennis Tournament this year,hubby Nagesh met a celebrity wife,Mrs.Andy Roddick and had a chance to get a picture with her.Hope he gets to meet Roger Federer...I want to too.

Kiddo starts 1st grade.

Sept 8th,the back to school day is all done and supplies delivered,hope daughty has a great year this time too at Shrevewood.

Miss Venezuela has been named winner of the 2009 Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas. Stefania Fernandez was crowned on Sunday night. Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee de la Cruz, was the runner up.
